Dry lengths
Avocado Coconut Cream Mask
Rich mask for dry lengths.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp mashed avocado
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp raw honey
Why These Ingredients
- Avocado gives a rich, buttery texture that suits dry or brittle-feeling lengths.
- Coconut oil helps coat dry-feeling lengths or scalp areas, but a small amount keeps the finish refined.
- Honey helps attract moisture to the hair surface and gives the mask a smooth texture.
How to prepare
Mix the measured ingredients in a clean small bowl until smooth. Prepare fresh for one use only; do not store leftovers.
How to apply
- Apply to scalp, roots, or lengths as the recipe title suggests.
- Keep the mixture away from eyes and broken or irritated skin.
- Massage very gently; do not scrub the scalp.
How long to leave on hair
Leave on hair/scalp for 10–20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and shampoo well if any oil, egg, yogurt, or honey remains.
Frequency of use
Use once weekly. For sensitive scalp, start every 2 weeks and stop if irritation appears.
Patch test note
Patch test behind the ear or on the inner arm for 24 hours before use. Avoid if you react to any ingredient; onion, egg, citrus, salt, and herbs can irritate sensitive scalp.
