Mango Butter Soft Ends Hair Balm

A tiny rich balm for dry hair ends after washing — made for softness and shine, not scalp treatment.

Published July 12, 2026

Mango butter in a ceramic jar with a comb and soft towel
Use this balm only on the driest ends, never as a heavy scalp layer.
Main ingredients: ½ teaspoon mango butter; ½ teaspoon jojoba oil; 2 drops pumpkin seed oil.

Best for

Dry-feeling ends, frizz-prone lengths and hair that looks dull after heat, color or sun exposure. It is too rich for fine hair roots.

Recipe ingredients

How to make it

  1. Warm the mango butter between clean fingers or over a bowl of warm water until soft.
  2. Stir in jojoba oil and optional pumpkin seed oil.
  3. Keep the amount tiny; this is a one-use balm, not a large jar recipe.

How to use

After washing and drying, rub a rice-grain amount between palms and touch only the driest ends. If hair looks oily, use half as much next time.

Frequency and safety

Use as needed on ends only. Avoid the scalp if it becomes itchy or oily. Patch test oils on skin first if you are reactive to botanicals.
