Mango butter is rich and cushiony, best used in tiny amounts.

Mango butter is a firm plant butter made from mango seed kernels. In beauty recipes, it is valued for slip, cushion and a soft protective feel. It does not hydrate skin by itself the way water does, but it can help a routine feel more comfortable when used over damp skin or on dry hair ends.

Best for: dry body areas, elbows, knees, heels, and a tiny amount on hair ends. Avoid when: skin is broken, irritated, acne-prone in that area, or you dislike rich textures.

How it fits Glow Rituals recipes

Use mango butter in small body balms, dry-end hair balms, and richer hand or heel rituals. It is usually too heavy for the face, especially if skin is congestion-prone.

Simple beauty uses

Safety notes

Patch test first. Avoid broken or irritated skin. Mango butter can make floors, tubs and hands slippery, and it may feel too heavy for fine hair if overused.
