Why this polish is body-only
Fine sugar gives brief polish, oats soften the feel, and sunflower oil adds enough glide to keep the ritual gentle. It is still a scrub, so it belongs on body areas that tolerate texture — not on the face, neck, chest, irritated skin or freshly shaved areas.
Recipe ingredients
- 1 tablespoon fine sugar
- 1 teaspoon oat flour or finely ground oats
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1/2 teaspoon aloe vera gel or plain water for softer slip
- Optional: 1 drop vanilla extract for scent, if tolerated
How to mix it
- Combine sugar and oat flour in a clean small bowl.
- Add sunflower oil and stir until evenly coated.
- Add aloe or water only if you want a softer paste.
- Mix just before use and discard leftovers after the ritual.
How to use it
- Use in the shower on damp body skin.
- Massage with very light pressure for 30–45 seconds on elbows, knees or rough-feeling body areas.
- Rinse well and wash the shower floor because oil can feel slippery.
- Pat dry and apply body lotion if needed.
Best frequency
Use once weekly or less. Skip before sun exposure, after shaving, after waxing, on bumps, on irritation or anywhere the skin feels tender.
