How to make it

  1. Add cucumber, blueberries, kefir or yogurt, water, chia and lime to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add another splash of water if the texture is too thick.
  3. If using collagen, blend again briefly after the smoothie is already smooth.
  4. Drink fresh. Chia thickens as it sits, so add water if saving for later.

Why these ingredients

Cucumber keeps the smoothie fresh and light, blueberries bring color and polyphenols, chia adds gentle fiber, and yogurt or kefir adds protein. Optional collagen can make it more filling, but it is not required for the recipe to be useful.
