Best for: a small fresh batch with exact quantities, realistic timing and gentle safety boundaries.

Why this is body-only

Oat flour softens the texture, fine brown sugar gives a short polish, and almond oil helps the mixture glide. It belongs on resilient body areas only, never on the face, neck, chest, freshly shaved skin or irritated patches.

Recipe ingredients

How to prepare it

  1. Mix oats and brown sugar in a clean small bowl.
  2. Add almond oil and stir until the texture looks glossy.
  3. Add the vanilla last and mix again.
  4. Use immediately; this is a fresh single-use polish.

How to use it

  1. Use on damp body skin with feather-light pressure for 30–45 seconds.
  2. Focus on arms, legs or rough-feeling areas only.
  3. Rinse well and clean the shower floor because oil can be slippery.
  4. Pat dry and follow with body lotion if your skin wants it.

Frequency and safety

Use no more than once weekly. Skip before sun exposure, after shaving or waxing, and on broken, scratched, sunburned or reactive skin. Patch test first if you are sensitive to nuts or fragrance.
