Why this body polish stays gentle
Finely milled rice flour gives a soft polish texture, while jojoba oil helps the mix glide instead of dragging. Aloe vera gel adds a light cushion so the recipe feels creamy. Keep this ritual for body skin only; it is not for the face, neck, chest, freshly shaved skin or irritated areas.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon very fine rice flour
- 1 teaspoon jojoba oil
- 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
- Optional: 1 teaspoon plain water if the mixture feels too thick
How to make it
- Mix rice flour and aloe vera gel in a clean bowl.
- Add jojoba oil and stir until the texture looks creamy.
- Use on damp body skin with very light pressure for 30–45 seconds.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Pat dry and follow with body lotion if skin feels dry.
Where to use it
This polish is best for arms, legs or rough-feeling body areas when the skin is calm. Avoid using it before sun exposure, after shaving or on any area that feels hot, itchy, broken or sensitized.
Common mistakes
- Using coarse rice grains instead of fine flour.
- Pressing hard because the texture feels mild.
- Leaving oil on the shower floor without rinsing it well.
Quick checklist
- Body only, never face.
- Patch test first.
