Marula oil is best treated as a light optional oil step, not a cure-all.

Marula oil is a lightweight-feeling plant oil used in some face, hair and body routines for softness and slip. On Glow Rituals, it belongs in gentle cosmetic framing: a possible comfort-supporting oil for some people, not a guaranteed anti-aging treatment.

The safest way to use it is small and slow. Oils can feel beautiful on one person and too rich on another, especially on reactive or breakout-prone skin.

How it can fit beauty rituals

How much to use

Start with less than you think you need. One drop can be enough for the face or both hands. If skin looks greasy, bumpy, itchy or uncomfortable, stop and return to a simpler moisturizer.

Who should be cautious

Avoid marula oil on broken, irritated, sunburned or freshly exfoliated skin. If you are acne-prone, test on a small area before using it on the face. Nut or seed sensitivities deserve extra caution with plant oils.

Patch test note

Apply a tiny amount to a small body area and wait 24 hours. Do not test on the face first. If itching, burning, bumps or redness appear, do not continue.
