Camellia seed oil is best used sparingly: a few drops are enough.

What it is

Camellia seed oil is pressed from camellia seeds and is loved in beauty routines for its elegant slip. In Glow Rituals recipes, it belongs in the same gentle-oil family as jojoba or rice bran oil: useful for softening the feel of body skin, dry hair lengths or a simple oil finish.

Why mature skin routines may like it

The texture is light, so it can support a comfortable, fresh-looking finish without feeling as heavy as richer butters. It does not replace sunscreen, moisturizer or medical care, and it should not be described as lifting, curing or erasing anything.

How to use it safely

What to pair it with

Camellia seed oil pairs nicely with simple routines: gentle cleanser, body-only polish recipes, soft hair rituals and fragrance-free moisturizers. Keep essential oils optional, diluted and never applied to irritated skin.
