Best for: a simple Glow Rituals recipe with exact quantities, realistic timing and gentle safety boundaries.
Why this is body-only
Fine sugar gives a quick polish texture, green tea adds a fresh ritual note, and jojoba oil gives slip so the mixture does not feel scratchy. Use this on resilient body areas only. It is not for the face, neck, chest, freshly shaved skin or any irritated area.
Recipe ingredients
- 1 tablespoon fine sugar
- 1 teaspoon very finely crushed green tea leaves or matcha-style green tea powder
- 1 tablespoon jojoba oil
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon aloe vera gel if you want a softer texture
How to prepare it
- Stir sugar and green tea in a clean bowl.
- Add jojoba oil slowly until the texture looks glossy but not runny.
- If using aloe, fold it in last and use the polish right away.
How to use it
- Use on damp body skin with very light pressure for 30–45 seconds.
- Rinse well with lukewarm water.
- Wash the shower floor because oil can make it slippery.
- Pat dry and apply body lotion if skin feels dry.
Quick checklist
- Body only; never face or delicate neck/chest skin.
- Use light pressure and short timing.
- Skip before or after shaving, waxing, sun exposure or self-tanner.
- Patch test first and discard leftovers.
