Keep this rinse light and scalp-comfort focused, not sticky or heavily perfumed.
Main ingredients: 1/2 cup cooled green tea, 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel and 1/4 cup cool water.

Best for

Normal hair or warm-weather scalp days when you want a light fresh-feeling rinse. Avoid on irritated scalp or if green tea/caffeine makes your skin reactive.

Recipe ingredients

How to prepare

  1. Brew green tea lightly for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Let it cool completely.
  3. Whisk aloe vera gel with water, then stir into the tea.
  4. Pour into a clean bottle and use the same day.

How to use

After shampoo and conditioner, pour or mist through the scalp and lengths. Leave for 2–3 minutes, then rinse lightly if your hair feels coated, or leave only a small amount on the lengths if you already know your hair tolerates it.

Frequency and safety

Use once weekly. Do not use on broken or itchy scalp, and avoid getting the rinse in the eyes. Discard leftovers after one day.
