Fine sugar, oat flour and jojoba oil for an elbow and knee scrub
Keep this scrub damp and soft, never dry and scratchy.
Main ingredients: 1 tablespoon fine sugar; 1 teaspoon oat flour; 1 teaspoon jojoba oil; ½ teaspoon aloe gel.

Rough-feeling elbows and knees when the skin is intact, not irritated, not sunburned and not freshly shaved.

How to prepare

  1. Stir sugar and oat flour in a small bowl.
  2. Add jojoba oil and aloe gel until the texture becomes a damp paste.
  3. Use immediately; do not store a wet DIY scrub.

How to use

Massage lightly over damp elbows or knees for 20–30 seconds. Rinse well and apply a simple lotion or a tiny amount of oil while skin is damp.

Frequency and safety

Use once weekly at most. Do not use on broken, itchy, sunburned or freshly shaved skin. Patch test first.
